How does global stress affect the development of the body and autonomic nervous system in childhood?

Our immunity and how healthy we are, according to Ayurveda, is determined by our Ojas. This is the essence of life energy (the stuff of life), which is present in us in specific quantities. Some people are born with a high level of Ojas and others with a low level.
And constant stress and fear cause us to lose our vital essence, which understandably weakens our immunity and makes us more susceptible to disease.
Stress hormones deplete our adrenal glands and the nervous system's adaptive function, which can lead to sleep disturbances, mood swings, depression and anxiety.

How can we protect our own and our children's mental health?

Ayurveda aims to raise happy and confident children without any emotional trauma.
First, we need to understand that what happens to us as parents will happen to our children. So we must first learn to protect and strengthen our own Ojas.
These are difficult times; so in the long term we will see the consequences of current events for the mental health of our children.
So the most important thing now is to support our health even more.
The biggest mistake in the treatment of illness is to treat the body and the soul separately, and no one can separate them.
